Bachelor of Science in Engineering

Invented a Digital Anemometer in 2005 as a practical extension to my B.Sc. Engineering Thesis.
- The thesis initially relied on a single commercial anemometer, manually relocated to 10 designated locations within the IUT campus, making the data collection process slow and inefficient.
- Designed and built a fully automated alternative, including both custom hardware and software developed in Microsoft Visual C++.
- Enabled real-time wind speed acquisition and automated periodic uploads to a PHP-MySQL web server for remote access and analysis.
- Developed the entire system at a cost lower than the commercial anemometer alone (excluding PC cost).
- The solution demonstrated the potential for further optimization using microcontroller-based technology, reducing both cost and complexity in modern implementations.
